Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Walnut Creek Truefinish Epoxy Floors for work at your home or business. By using the site or booking a job with us, you agree to them, so please read them before you schedule.
If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work through it. If something here is unclear, call us at (925) 433-7858 or reach us through our contact page and we'll explain it.
What we do
Walnut Creek Truefinish Epoxy Floors is a flooring contractor in Walnut Creek, CA. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic and urethane cement floor coatings, and we polish, stain, grind, seal, resurface and strip concrete for homes and businesses in Walnut Creek and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew on our about page.
The descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information about the trade. They aren't a promise that your floor will look or perform exactly the same, because every slab is different and the result depends on the concrete we're working on.
Estimates and pricing
We give free in-person estimates with no obligation to hire us. We look at the floor before we price it, because the condition of the concrete, its size, the prep it needs and the system you choose all change the cost.
Your written estimate or contract sets the scope, the price and the payment schedule for your job. If we find something once the work is underway that the estimate couldn't account for, such as damaged or wet concrete under an old coating, we'll stop, explain it and get your approval before doing extra work or changing the price.
Any general cost information on this website is for planning only and isn't a quote.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you and confirm it before the crew arrives. Coatings need the right conditions to cure, so weather, temperature, moisture in the slab or other things outside our control can push the schedule, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You're responsible for clearing the work area, giving us access on the agreed dates and keeping people, pets and vehicles off the floor until we say it's ready. Using the floor too early can damage the finish, and that damage isn't covered by our guarantee.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can. If we've already bought or special-ordered materials for your job, you may be responsible for that cost. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under California law to cancel a home improvement contract.
Payment
Payment is due as set out in your written estimate or contract, including any deposit and the final balance. We'll tell you the accepted payment methods before work starts.
If a balance goes unpaid, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled and use the steps the law allows to collect it.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're fully licensed and insured, and we back every job with our satisfaction guarantee. Any written warranty for your floor will be stated in your contract, and that document controls what's covered and for how long.
Beyond what's written in your contract, our work and this website are provided as is, without other warranties, to the extent the law allows. We can't guarantee against problems that come from the concrete itself, such as new cracks, settling or moisture coming up through the slab, or from misuse, chemical spills, harsh cleaners, normal wear, or repairs made by someone else.
Small differences in color, texture and pattern are normal with coatings, stains and polished concrete, especially with metallic and decorative finishes, and aren't defects.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Walnut Creek Truefinish Epoxy Floors isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business, lost use of a space or the cost of storing your belongings while we work. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
These limits don't apply where California law doesn't allow them.
Using this website
The content on this site belongs to Walnut Creek Truefinish Epoxy Floors and is here to help you learn about our work. Please don't copy it for commercial use without asking us first.
We try to keep the information here accurate and current, but it may contain errors or go out of date, and links to other websites are outside our control. You can always start again from our home page.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with any part of our work, call us first at (925) 433-7858 so we can come look at it and try to make it right. Most problems get solved faster that way than any other.
If we can't settle it together, either of us may take the matter to the courts in Contra Costa County, California, including small claims court where the amount qualifies.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes won't affect a job already covered by a signed contract unless we both agree in writing.
If you have questions about these terms, please get in touch with us.
